Have you ever seen a project from start to finish? I have seen homes transformed and cars brought back to show room quality. I have seen cars and motorcycles go from rust buckets to looking brand new. When completed they look as if they just rolled off the showroom floor. The touch of the caring hands of a master takes something old and used up and restores it to new life.
I have also known people who have been transformed into new lives by the touch of the master’s hands. God can take anyone and change their lives. He creates a new person. Colossians 3:2-4, “Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him.” After we accept Christ as our savior we are given new life here on earth. We are transformed through the Holy Spirit. We have died upon the cross with Christ; our sins are forgiven, washed away. The wages are paid in full. What could better than that? The only thing better is knowing that when we leave this life we are given a new life and a new body. We are then completely restored into the glory of God. Like a car restored to showroom quality we are completely restored into what God created us to be. We have a new life, new body, and a restored relationship with our creator. We finally will have the relationship we were meant to have from the very beginning…
