Scripture:
What are the qualities of a great leader? Why is it that people are willing to follow certain leaders anywhere they go. In the movie "White Christmas" the opening scene is in WWII in Europe somewhere. Later on after the war Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye had become big producers for Broadway shows. They ended up at a sky resort finding their old general. The general had sunk everything into the resort and it was looking as if it were going out of business due to weather. Bing and Danny's characters loved their old leader so much they brought their entire show to the resort to "practice" new ideas for a show. They went all out to try and save their former leader.
How much more should we be willing to do for Jesus our Saviour and Lord? Jesus calls us to him. He has a job for each of us. If we are willing to follow earthly leaders and go above and beyond for them. Should we not do the same for Christ? How much more we should be willing to do for Him. Jesus gave us everything, can we do any less in return.
God who is in control of all things is with us regardless of what we go through. All we have to do is trust in Him. He not only gave His Son's life for us He continues to give to us today. Each of us needs to head His call. How can we not give back to God who gave us everything?
