The key to any business being successful is simply location, location, and location. It is a theme we hear over and over. When I am driving and need to stop for gas I always look for the gas station on the side of the road that will give me easy access out. I look to make that right hand turn. I will pass up the gas stations on the “wrong side” of the road. When you are looking for a place to live or have a business you want the right location. We look at the neighborhood and the school district. Is the house located in an area that is acceptable? How is the yard? Is it what we want? Do we have easy access to the things we want access to? We are very particular about the location of our home or business.
God promised the Israelites a land flowing with milk and honey. OK to be honest I never quit understood the reference of milk and honey. I always vision in my mind streams of milk or honey flowing through the land… However, the point is that Israel was promised, and given, land in the best possible location. They were given the choicest of lands.
God promises us the same. When we leave this world we will go into heaven where we will have the best possible real estate. When we accept Christ as our savior we are redeemed. Jesus tells us He is preparing a place for us. It is ready and waiting for the time when we arrive. The best part about it is there is room for everyone. We cannot fill heaven but wouldn’t it be wonderful to try. God doesn’t want any of His children, that’s us, to be lost. Salvation is ready and available to any and everyone. We just need to share God’s love and the good news of redemption. Real estate in heaven is prime location, it is also freely given. All you have to do to claim your mansion is show up. There is a catch though. In order to show up you must believe Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus lived a perfect life and died on the cross. That He paid the price of all sin, you sin. Simply put accept Christ as your savior and messiah. Grace is freely given to any and everyone willing to accept it…
