New Life, New Bodies

Scripture:
2 Corinthians  4:16-5:8

A few years ago I remember watching a show about hydrogen cars.  The frame and workings of the car are to be so different that you could swap the body of the car by removing a few bolts.  If the body you have gets old, beat up, or you just do not like it anymore you get a new one.  You simply go to the dealership and pick out the new car.  You need that minivan no problem you buy the minivan body.  A few years later you want that hot convertible, no problem just go get it.

Unfortunately here on earth we cannot just swap our bodies out for new ones.  However, the good news is once we get into heaven we are going to be given heavenly bodies.  We will no longer have our ailments aches and pains.  There will be no more suffering and no more pain.   As we wait here on earth to be with Christ in Heaven we must not despair.  Let us rejoice in the life that God has given us.  Let us celebrate that which we have been given.  We can glorify Christ in all things and be a light unto the world for Him.  The longer we are here the more lives we can reach.  May we continue to strive to bring others into the glory of God so that they may be given new life as well.  May all we do be to the Glory of God…
