The Holy Spirit

Where’s the beef?  I remember back in the 80s the Wendy’s commercial with an older lady asking that very question.  It seemed that everyone started asking where the beef was.  It is amazing how a catchy slogan can be really effective.  Today I ask where’s the Holy Spirit?

As Christians we are supposed to be filled by the Holy Spirit, the very presence of God.  Yet there are churches and so called Christians who are left empty.  We can go through the motions and say the right things.  However inside we are still empty.

Jesus told the apostles to wait, Acts 1:4-5 “On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: ‘Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;…
